The Little Cayuse Ranch, located in central New Mexico near the small town of Cedarvale, is a natural preserve for the Spanish Mustang horse. Spanish Mustangs live on open range where they roam freely as they once did throughout the West.
Visitors are welcome to come to the ranch to experience the horses in their natural environment. They are a photogenic group of friendly, inquisitive, and highly intelligent horses. Schools and children are welcome to visit the ranch.
To quote Emmett Brislawn, "Saving the Spanish Mustang is saving a part of our National Heritage". To visit our ranch and interact with these horses is to experience a part of our history with the horse that helped found our country.
